Please note that in case of a deadline on a particular calendar date, the time of the deadline is 11:59 PM clock time in the IAU office in Paris, France on that given date. In European winter, Paris clock time is UTC + 1 hour. In European summer, Paris clock time is UTC + 2 hours.

May 20		The General Secretary forwards list of proposed Finance Committee Members for the next triennium to the National Members and invites additional nominations from them
May 31		Applicants will be Notified by the IAU General Secretary of the Outcome of the Selection for the Gruber Fellowship and Announcement is Posted
May 31		Communication to the SOC of the Final Selection of Symposia
May 31		DEADLINE for Poster Submission

Jun 7		Accepted Individual and Junior Members Announced
Jun 30		DEADLINE for Regular Registration for the General Assembly
July
Jul 15		DEADLINE for additional nominations from the National Members for future members of both the Membership Committee and the Finance Committee
Jul 15		Members who have been marked as 'Inactive' for 3 years will be removed from the IAU lists
Jul 30		The Finance Committee shall submit a report, including the auditor's reports, to the EC on its findings and recommendations concerning the development of the Union's finances over the preceding triennium

Aug 31		All Working Groups and Associate Memberships End Unless Actively Reproposed

Sep 1		All Committees for the New Triennium are Instated
Sep 15		DEADLINE for Letters of Intent (LOI) for 2029 Symposia
Sep 15		An EC approved summary of the accounts of the previous triennium and budget for the next triennium will be published on the IAU webpages under "Administration"
Sep 15		Deadline for the GA Host LOC to send the digitzed GA Newspapers to the IAU to be posted on the webpages
Sep 30		Letters of Intent Published

Nov 1		Letters of Intent Proposing to Host the IAU General Assembly in 2033 Should Reach the IAU GS Before November 1, 2027
